Maximizing the Use of Diminished Vision
Low vision is a condition where there is substantial visual loss that is not correctable through surgery, glasses or medical treatment alone. People with low vision conditions cannot effectively complete daily activities such as dressing, cooking, medication management, work/school or navigating the environment. Low vision therapy helps to create strategies to substitute or maximize the use of diminished vision.
At the Centennial Hills Hospital Outpatient Therapy Center, we offer personalized low vision rehabilitation to help you or a loved one gain a higher level of independence. Consequently, the interventions will boost self-confidence and personal safety. Our process includes an extensive holistic evaluation of the visual condition, creation of client-driven interventions, and specific low vision training.
